Hi Ernst,

I have a chart of someone with Moon in Taurus, MT but in conjunction to Ketu (and Jupiter), with exalted Venus in Pisces, Sun exalted in Aries, Saturn/ Mars conjunction in Cancer. All planets are on the Ketu side- Rahu is pretty alone. This person is very stuck in their Ketu, I would say, from what I feel and see in the chart. He is 48 years old and since his birthday being in a big crisis. He shows pretty much traits of a dependant personality, with having difficulties to manage simple tasks in his life and needing others, especially partners to do that for him. How does Ketu come into play with an exalted or Mulatrikona child- mind- Moon? Can we generally say, that Ketu is also a symbol for separation trauma when its close to the Moon or Mars or even standing alone? Or is that too narrow?

Thank you!

Tamara

WHenever a lot of planets are on the ketu side, it's hard to leave ketu. If those are well dignified planets, there is less reason to leave ketu, it's a nicer castle! A ketu moon person has always decided to curb the awareness of some of their feelings, only perfect feelings are permissible, which is usually not most feelings. At some point, those feelings are going to fight to surface and situations will be encountered that intensely trigger those feelings to the surface. And yes, there can be a seperation trauma of being spoiled CONDITIONALLY, meaning, you get love because of this or if this and so now you need to separate some part of yourself to keep getting that "love." There is a type of seperation truama that comes from never being seperated, this happens when a person does not learn healthy separation and they become very dependent but, its in seperation that we get to learn to be ourselves, whenever we are with others we are being conditioned by not only the words, but by the energy of the other person and never being wiht oneself, one is seperated from oneself.

@codydeboer I found in my scriptures from the Rahu/Ketu healing course that Moon/Ketu people make themselves feel as happy and good as they can, and this makes them uplift other people very much so it becomes a certain gift which makes them being good advisors, psychologists, counselors, friends for those in need...

Thank you Ernst, this matches so much the condition of this person! What a challenge to be such way in your own energy, not getting conditioned or eaten up by the energy of others AND being able to involve energetically in a healthy way and not running away from that either.

If this is at all useful:

I have moon/ketu joined in cancer and my experience has been separation from mother, and a dissociative condition that produced chronic out-of-body states whereby it was pretty much impossible to express needs. I was vacant, my parents had a vacant quality to them. They were often unseen. I connected more to psychic realms than I did the world and when I was able to ground myself finally, I felt very foreign.

@rinamaria thank you for sharing! May I ask in which house you have your Ketu/Moon?
