Lajjitaadi avastha calculations - Accounting for good/bad avasthas in signs

In the context of PAC and Lajjitaadi avasthas, it seems that a planet is helped if there are other delighted or proud planets in its sign, and hurt if there are starved planets in its signs. So far example, for a Jupiter starved by Mercury by being in Gemini/Virgo, it seems that this starved Jupiter will be helped if Mars is delighted in Sag, and Sun delighted and Venus exalted in Pisces, than not. If this is correct, how do we account for the benefit/loss from good/bad avasthas in the signs of a planet in our Lajjitaadi avastha calculations?
