The influence of an ecplise is based on the chart for the first ecplise in the cycle, cycles run well over 1000 years. The first in this cycle had a lot of powerful changes on venus and so its a relationship changing and often breaking ecplise. 

Makes sense as I have been experiencing this thoroughly now for the past few weeks. Deaths, cut off communications, as well as terminal loss in the realm of future possibilities worth living for.
