Does everyone have a spiritual teacher with Rahu in the 9th? What if I found them but lost them because I was not ready when the teacher appears? Will I be ready when Rahu matures?
@ernst Along these lines of guru/path/family/culture, what would Ketu in 9th/Rahu in 3rd indicate?
Thank you, Ernst. I am already considered an outcast by my family with my interest in astrology and spirituality. So I am not sure what my own path will be. Looking forward to my Rahu maturation in 2 years time to see how it will destroy my Ketu house.

@stefanie3004 Is that so, that Rahu destroys the Ketu house when it matures? I guess it´s in the Ra/Ke-course but I can´t remember it. When I was 43 I had to leave my daughter behind in a foreign country where I didn´t stand a chance in family court. My Ketu in the 5th house, with an ashamed Jupiter in it.

I was studying the indications of bhavas, especially the 9th. You mentioned that 9th is the father's well being and the 10th is his effect upon you. Having the moon in the 10th, growing up, my dad was very nurturing but with Rahu in the 9th, he was an alcoholic and life at home was very unpredictable. I grew up not knowing when he would come home, drunk and what fight is he going to create. There was a lot of shame, confusion and anxiety at home due to my father's drinking. My parents finally divorced and for 14 years, I was so free, not having any contact with my father. 14 years on, a social worker contacts me to say that my father now has dementia, bipolar and grandiose delusion. I know have to sign the papers to place him in a nursing home. I hardly call my father and talk to him unless on special occasions. Till today, speaking to my father causes me a lot of anxiety and stress and I try to avoid it. Speaking to him brings memories of all that childhood trauma and stress and shame.
