Dear Ernst,

Should we use rasi or planetary (full drishti) aspects for raj yogas for planets aspecting each other?

Ernst: I understand that you are busy in many fields and the Lajjitadi avastha course is high priority now of course. But after that we may look forward to more courses I guess?

A general chart reading course would be wonderful. I mean, you´ve done a lot of Jaimini readings and so, but like a course where you show with concrete examples when to use which type of aspect, when to consider the cusp and when to count rasis and above all: how the planets interact in for example a Birth Chart; the dispositor changing the interpretation of a Karaka and so on.

Best regards
Mattias

i have been using planetary aspect for yogas. Good suggestion Mattias for a future course. I know Ryan Kurczak has a course on something like how to read a chart, and i meant to buy it one of these days....

@tuyetv Checked it up and it seems be more or less the course I was asking for, TY. A little short perhaps, but definitely a good start!

I believe we use planetary aspects for all  Parashara techniques and rashi aspects for Jaimini

That is what I think too, but I had a reading recently with Laura Bharat and she used Rasi aspects for this.

Oh...Ok, thanks for the info...maybe she mixed some Jaimini technique along with Dharma, Artha, Kama, Moksha yoga analysis?  Also, I believe there is a Jaimini Raja yoga too, I guess that would use rashi aspects..

I don't think so. I watched her do it and knew exactly that she was referring to my raj yoga that occurs with planetary aspects but it also occurs with rasi aspects! But she mentioned another planet that rasi aspects it but doesn't do so planetarily.

I also think, that for raja yogas planetary aspects should be used, but in the more subtle and precise way as shown in the planetary aspect table in kala - not only the coarse full aspects (all planets aspect the 7th and jupiter addtionally the 5th and 9th, mars the 4th and 8th and saturn the 3th and 10th and hereby neglecting the actual degrees of the planets).

@ tuyet: I took ryans course a couple of years ago. its really nice, but in some videos the sound is pretty weak.

best

@christiank thanks for the feed back about Ryan's course... I have always like the way Ryan explains things, very precise and clear, at least to me any way
