So, Venus has it´s best dignity the further it is from his father´s house, Ernst explains. The comfort zone. It´s the marriage planet, so yes: It must leave the nest.

And being in Vivasvaan gives it little room for to make any decisions at all, since it´s all routine.

Hence a strong Venus is an indicator for marriage, right?

But would it also be an indicator for leaving the nest early or going abroad, change of environment, etc. Or the other way round: Are people with Venus in Vivasvaan less prone to leave the father´s house, their hometown, cut family bonds etc?

Any thoughts and experiences anyone?

I have seen this in people that leave the nest early or earlier than others. They are seeking what is most worthwhile to them instead of focusing on what others want for them. It doesn't show that there will be no problems in marriage though. In fact, some don't get married. Others divorce and remarry...so not a strong indication of whether someone will have a good marriage or not. Although we tend to look at Venus generally to judge the person's relationships, which I think it is based on Venus being about seeking what's worthwhile. But that can look very different for people.

@suzanstars Have you watched the new video on Mercury´s exaltation/debilitation in the Aditiyas course? In it Ernst explains how Venus and Mercury work together, and how... Well, it´s there. It´s pure gold!

Thanks for your input, it confirms my picture. Getting used to the idea of seemingly having an exalted Venus, it´s in Dhataa. It actually makes sense.

What is to be said then for Venus and its mooltrikona being in Tvashta so near to its lowest ucca bala? Same for the Sun in Indra + Mercury in Vivisvan?

Well I have it and I went estranged at an early age. We have the same lagna but my 4th cusp is in vivasvaan with ketu there and mercury is my most afflicted planet. So it wasn’t a difficult decision. I felt like an alien in my “family”. And that means that Rahu is with my Venus so it was scary but I felt like I had no other option but to gtfo.

When I was listening to Ernst talk about this Venus in Vivasaan, I kept thinking of Venus being "what you keep".  If we never leave our parents home, we cannot decide what we are actually going to incorporate into our lives from that past as things we keep.  Sometimes we discard all of it, sometimes we re-incorporate things from our upbringing.  This was how I came to understand it.
