i mean the ruler of a sign which has no house cusp
And also i would like to ask for example if the 5 sign from the Lagna hasn't got the 5th Cusp, but has the 3rd and 4th Cusp, are the topics of the 3rd house 4th and 5th mixed there? How you interpretate it? I know in this case if i wanna read the mother of the native i'll have to do it from the 5th sign from the lagna (as it has the 4th cusp) or the same with siblings (as it has the 3rd Cusp there), but what else would it entail? and as i was asking before, what about the signs from the lagna which have no cusp?
Thank you
My understanding is not every house rasi has a cusp. Sometime they do and sometime they don't. If it does not have a cusp then you would treat it as house from your Ascendant. So it is in your relation to that house as it is from your Ascendant. Cusp is the concrete thing. If you analyze how good something will be in the concrete sense, you should focus on the cusp. In timing with Dasas i notice Ernst used both cusp and the rasi as counted from the Lagna....For yoga for the most part as i remembered we look at house from the Ascendant...
In your example if you want to analyze the concrete aspect of the actual person (mother and siblings) you need to look at 3rd and 4th cusps. If you look at the 5th rasi from the Ascendant then you are looking at it in relation to the Ascendant, perhaps your relationship to children. It all depends on what you are looking for and also what technique you are applying...
