Yes, the mitochondria DNA is from the mother's egg, however, the maternal DNA's do interact with the DNA Of the surrogate so the baby one gets, is not the same as if it was not havig a surrogate.

Its interesting that Mars is closely conjunct Jupiter for this Sag lagna chart but in Gemini. Will see how the child develops in her new family. 

I believe it was a full surrogacy, but I am not 100% sure.

You can check her Mars, Jupiter and Saturn, 5th house. It seems quite obvious in the D7 and D60, everything that happened to her, also that ketu in the 6th seems related to the times she spent trying to fix her body so she can gives birth. Saturn influence on Jupiter made her a mom but delayed it.
