Hey all, so I have:
Moon at 28 Libra
Jupiter at 6 Libra
and a Libra Lagna
But there’s no planets in the 2nd and 12th from the Moon. However, Venus aspects the lagna at 7 degrees Aries from the 7th House and 2 degrees Mercury and 14 degrees Sun in Taurus slightly aspect the Moon from the 8th House.
Do I still have a Kemadruma Yoga? Or is it cancelled out?
I definitely struggle with fulfilling long term goals and plans… and I have many desires and wishes to fulfill in life, but painfully they have not turned out like I had hoped, much more focus needed. Rahu is in Sagittarius for me, so I know that concentration and focus is paramount.
I hope that is understandable and any insight is greatly appreciated!

I think Kemadruma Yoga is cancelled out when planets other than Sun, Rahu, Ketu are in an angle from the Moon (your Jupiter in 1st and Venus in 7th from the Moon). A more significant cancelation would come from planets in 4th and 10th but I dont think you've mentioned any of those. I do think the worst effects of the Kemadruma are canceled out, but your Moon doesn't have something solid to react on readily when confronted with new experiences, so you may experience some of that. I have a Kemadruma Yoga cancelation too. I see it canceled in a good portions of the horoscopes.
You also have a waxing Moon and Jupiter in the Lagna, so that's 2 benefics which is really nice. Jupiter in 1st and Venus in 7th are probably the ones you rely on to center your Moon and catch your balance at times.
When planets other than the Nodes are in angles from Lg (Venus, Jupiter for you) will help too , when it comes to direction and focus, so again they can avert some of the most troublesome effects and some of the fickleness of the mind.
For me for example, I have Saturn in the 10th from my Sagittarius Moon and I did notice work routine has the quality to center my mind adding seriousness when needed. I also have Sun and Mercury in the 7th in Taurus, so that also helps a bit and counts towards cancelation - my Manas is just too optimistic and idealistic and isn't always sure what to count on... Rahu and Ketu make a Rasi aspect to the Moon too, which makes it an interesting Moon to work with, to say the least...
Maybe others can jump in and let us know how they apply Kemadruma and its cancelation. Thats my take on it for now...

I remember reading that it gets cancelled for those reasons. I’m glad that is so. Life always seems to work out in the end for me, I’m very lucky and never have anything seriously bad happen to me… but my big goals are hard to manifest.
i imagine Jupiter and Venus being the key planets to get help from would be to do more prayer, affirmation, meditation type of things to center my mind?
And with Venus either getting help and guidance from a partner of some kind or finding some means of enjoying the journey.

There is also another version of Kemadruma Yoga from Jaimini's teaching, Sutra 1.1.119 and it said "From the Sva, Lagna or Pada, equal malefics in the 2nd and 8th" - Kemadrumah". Base on the information you provided, from the Lagna Libra, you have 2 planets waxing Moon and Jupiter. In the 8th you have Mercury and Sun in the 8th. So you do have equal planets in the Lagna and the 8th. However, they are not all malefics as only the Sun is malefic. So per Jaimini, from the Lagna you do not have Kemadruma Yoga. As to from the Atmakaraka and Pada, there is not enough information here to decide

From my AK Saturn 29 Aquarius in the 5th House. Nothing in the 6th House. Mars 3 Léo in 11th House. Nothing in the 12th House.
If I’m not mistaken my Pada Lagna is Libra again, so same thing as was mentioned before.
