Just shared a reading experience in the forum and then felt remorse. The chart really allows us to see right into the heart of a person´s struggle - and often a very painful struggle. Are we allowed to share what we see with our astrologer/students? I guess that sometimes we are, sometimes not... Especially when we need some help to confirm our come to a better understanding of what we are seeing, so that we can help our client better.

I felt I was just showing off, being happy with a good reading, and wanting to share my accomplishment. That for sure is not a reason to give away information about a person.

Do you have any protecting rituals or similar to protect the sacredness of a reading? I guess reading a Ketu/Ganesha mantra would be a good habit.

Did you share the person's name or give out any information that would lead anyone to identify him/her? Personally, I would only show the chart but without any information, not even the DOB and place of birth (I didn't see your post, so not sure what you've shared really).

@mona No, no name or birth data. But Universe knows, you know. It didn´t feel right.

I am thinking about your question. Ernst used many charts of people (public and other wise) in teaching his classes. Of course information such as DOB, place of birth, birth time are not shared and should not be shared. If we dont have real charts to discuss or ask questions, how are we supposed to learn? Just thinking out loud here....

@tuyetv I know, I know. There´s a fine line. Ernst is an astrology teacher, he must share charts of course.

@tuyetv I think it´s mostly about myself, I felt I was showing off. Maybe that´s a too strong expression, but there was no really need for feedback, I was just impressed by my own reading.

@mona Yeah, true, I did so, but then this question came up about some kind of ritual. I think that a Ketu mantra before a reading is a good idea. I will try to learn one.
