I am working with this contractor and he tells me ever since as a child he could see ghosts. Yikes... He said he hated it but there is nothing he could do. He has the 6th sense. When a person dies, i would assume they move on to the next life. So if there is ghost around does that mean the spirit is unable to leave this life time to move on to the next life time?

sometimes people are too attached to the material plane to move on. This happens thorugh sheer attachment but also often through people dying suddenly with no time to make piece. For this reason there are many ghosts of native american's haunting topanga in the la area where there was an indian massacre.
@ernst Do people with an unresolved Saturn that is starved by the Sun or Moon tend to become ghosts, since Saturn is the natural physical world and the body to which we identify and become attached?
Or is it more of a Ra/Ke thing? Or perhaps a Jupiter thing, starved by the material world and unable to move on into the greater whole of divinity, since Jupiter is a heavenly "guiding star" type planet?
@ernst he asked me after the 3rd time he came to my house if someone had died in my house, a female and he gave me a brief description. OMG - my grandma passed away about 25 years ago due to old age 96. He told me she was watching him work in the kitchen. He said he could feel her present and knew it was a female but when he turned around she was gone. My grandma was very protected of us and took care of us while our parents were working. I was surprised to hear that her spirit was still around....
@ernst how do help them to move on? we love and miss her a lot of course, but we want her to move on to her next life....

In a teepee ceremony it sometimes happens that small whirlwinds manifest in the charcoal bed and go up through the opening of the teepee. That I´ve been told are spirits that are attracted by the drum sound, they then get help by the fire to find their way to other side. I´ve never seen it happen early in a ceremony interestingly enough, it seems that it has to come to maturity for it to happen. In some ceremonies it happens a lot.
