Question regarding a course video:

In the “concrete chart and Varga analysis w/ Jaimini” course, Video 20, at 20 min 10 sec:

While analyzing the chart, Leo Lagna, Saturn in the 12th, was not considered  to be aspected by Mercury from the 4th, yet Saturn was considered to be aspecting Mercury in the 4th, and I’m curious why.

I thought the rasi aspects were both ways. Maybe I am neglecting a rule?

Rasi aspects go both ways, for sure. I don´t know why Ernst would mention planetary aspects in a Jaimini context - it was a long time since I took that course though - but maybe he did?

yes, rasi aspects are both ways but we were analyzing Mercury i that chart, not saturn, so we are not concerned with what aspects saturn receives.

@ernst Thank you, makes complete sense, sometimes the simplest things trip me up.
