Hi everybody
I‘m new to this forum and have a question on what I‘m doing wrong. At the moment I‘m taking the audio course concerning jaimini dasas. In the course Ernst said he likes to use Shodasa vargas to get an overview to the vargas on one screen. I tried it out but get different results to the manually selected vargas in the Jaimini screen. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance for your help
Best regards
Thomas
There are some different calculation options for some of the vargas D3, D4, D10, D24, is it these that you are finding different? So make sure you are looking at the same calculations if you are comparing.
I pull up the Shodasavargas when i read charts to get the feel of the Rasi chart. A couple of months ago i notice the D-10 and D-24 from the Shodasavargas are not the same as the D-10 and D-24 when i pull up them up individually. So what you need to do is in Kala go to Options, Calculation Options, under Vargas calculation whatever options you choose for D-30, D-10 and D-24, when you pull them up as individual charts, you have to also select the same option.
For example in Kala I choose under Vargas options, Trimsamsa - Rasi/30, Dasamsa (D-10) - Parashara Reverse for Even Rasi, Chaturvimsamsa (D-24) Parashara Reverse for Even Rasi. So when i pull the individual vargas charts, for D-10 i have to select Dasamsa Reverse for Even Rasi. For D-24 i have to choose Siddhamsa Can-Rev and D-30 I select Trimsamsa Rasi/30. That way i get the same charts as i see in the Shodasavargas...
