Jaimini manifesting strength

Hello Ernst, We learned in Jaimini that Mercury and Jupiter when they aspect a planet they help that planet to manifest. But let's say Jupiter is aspecting Venus who is it's enemy, does that mean it is good for Venus because Jupiter has the manifesting strength to give to Venus, but it is not good for Jupiter because Venus is its enemy? That implies to me Venus Dasa will be good but Jupiter Dasa will not be good. Is this the correct understanding? Thx!
