In the "The Planets" video (ie at the beginning of the course) you mentioned that we have to use the planets as and when situations arise in our life which makes perfect sense. What then is the added value that Dasas bring?
Is it that during a Dasa of planet we will embody the bad Avastha of the planet unless we change our habits?
How about the third level dasa?
Do the yogas and all general rules apply to 3rd, 4th and 5th level dasas?
While the interpretation of 2nd level dasa is clear (due to lajjitadivasthas), how do we interpret 3rd level dasa compared to maha dasa?

maha dasa is VERY general. so what can happen under it, the maha dasa only needs to indicate it just barely. THe 3rd level dasa is the most specific. It really gets the event into motion so it really needs to strongly indicate an event. Deeptaadi Avasthas are important to consider for the 3rd level.
