Whenever we are looking at someone's chart, do we only classify the Avasthas of the Grahas based on their placement in Rashi chart, or do their Avasthas in the Vargas also have an effect?
For example assume someone has Capricorn Jupiter in Rashi but in Navamsa Jupiter is exalted in Cancer. In Rashi chart, Jupiter has Khala Avastha yet in Navamsa it is in Pramudita Avastha. In this regard, what happens, does the person feel bad in Jupiter's dasha initially but learns to be optimistic and graceful (especially in relationship matters) later on, or will only the Avastha of Rashi chart count?
Similarly, say Mars is in Gemini in Rashi chart (starved) but in Navamsa it sits in Aries (proud). Will the placement of Mars in the Varga alter Mars's dashas for the person?
Take the lajjitaadi avastha only in the rasi. THe deeptaadi avastha closely follows the lajjitaadi avashtas, but is not as complex. One way you can use them together is to look at the lajjitaadi in the rasi. THen look to see the deepaadi in the varga you are studying. Look for similar themes, so if its kopi in the varga and agitated by sun in the rasi, then in the varga they will get that full agitation. So work through all the possibilities of these two avasthas and you will figure it out.
