Hi Ernst,

If a planet is proud, how does it depend on the four strengths (Ucchha, Chestha and Dig in particular).

Since it is already proud, it can deal with any bad avasthas on it without the help of its strengths, right? Also what if a planet has no bad avasthas on it?

In general, what is the dynamics between the strengths and the good avasthas of a planet? Are the strengths important only to deal with bad avasthas?

Regards,

Anand

When a proud planet has bad avasthas, it gives the person the ability to work t hrough them in time, but those bad avasthas will cause some problems and make them very critical and judgmental of others. The strengths let us see how good or bad a habit is, good stregnths mean they are very good at using that planet.

Hi Ernst,

I am looking at this example to understand:

I have Jupiter - Mercury conjunction in Pisces and I could relate to the Jupiter delighting Mercury video strongly. Other than this, my Mercury only has Moon thirsting it to 56 points.

However my Mercury seems to have Uccha/Chesta/Dig in pretty much single digits. Does this make a weak karmic reward? Why do I relate strongly to Jupiter delighting Mercury?

Also, is my Mercury thirsted by Moon still significant due to conjunction with a benefic?

Regards,

Anand

Mercury is helped a lot by jupiter of course, so you have to look at all the math of all the balas to see what is going on.
