I'm not sure if there has been a post about this yet, but I couldn't find it if there has been :p

I was just thinking about why I don't have as many friends/support as I'd like - in relation to my chart - and I thought maybe it could be related to ketu in the 11th house (in aquarius) with the moon. This would make sense if ketu represents separation, but I can't remember if it does?

Hi Lis,

This is what I remember from the beginner Rahu/Ketu course:

The sign Ketu is in and the house cusp Ketu is conjunct indicates an area that feels safe, is your safety paradigm. It's where you think you do everything well. However, that feeling is deceptive. We still have to perfect that area, but can only perfect it once we've done our Rahu. We have to get so sick of our Ketu and Ketu has to fail us so badly that we are finally willing to do Rahu at age 42 (Rahu maturation). Then, (ideally) we can use what we've learned and perfect Ketu. According to that course, until then our Ketu just won't ever give us the level of satisfaction we hope to find. Hence the feeling of being cut off or the separation.

@virgogorl Also, this could be a step towards putting yourself and your opinion out in the world, creating your own kingdom as rahu in Leo would suggest.  It may be lonely at times, but the karmic evolutionary path for that placement would be to focus on yourself and your own creativity.

Hi Lis,

I have a Ketu, Sun, Venus conjunction in my 2nd house (Libra) and experience a similar situation with friends/support in my life as well. Ketu definitely seems to be a culprit.

I think Ketu doesn't create separation directly but dissatisfaction because ketu looking for absolute happiness which not found in this world. Ketu finds more and more satisfaction though when rahu sign is developed

@amit That´s a wonderful way of understanding it, thank you Amit! That, of course, tends to make us detached to the matter that is indicated by Ketu.

@amit

Isn't that essentially what I said ???? ???? ?
