Hi Ernst and all,
I am looking at a chart with the interchange between the 4th and the 10th house. In the Parivartana course as i recall (took this course last year), you said both 4th and 10th are houses of happiness and this is a powerful exchange. The interchange with the 4th house that is a Maha yoga is the place where we can carry that happiness with us. I am looking at a chart with this Maha yoga, but the dignities of the planets are not good. 4 house is Capricorn with Moon (per Kala dignities table Moon is in enemy dignity). Moon is with Jupiter and Venus. The 10th house is Cancer with Saturn in it, and Saturn is in great enemy dignity
So rather than being a good yoga, does that mean this 4/10 interchange now will not give good things and is thrashed because the dignities of the two planets Moon and Saturn are in bad dignities?
Thx!

maha yoga is always good. the next step is to qualify the yoga as any yoga and then dignity plays a small roll, but do watch the videos on qualifying the yogas.
Thanks Ernst. The video on qualifying the yogas - is that the Parashara's formula for yoga judgement? If not what course would that be?

I think we can literally feel an undertow of the potential of good yogas wanting to manifest in our lives, perhaps a vague sense of promise or even a subtle sense of entitlement.
When dignity and other negatively modifying factors hinder it, we feel the friction and breaking of a promise or waste of potential. Things are not quite as they should be or as we promised ourselves we could have.
Just a theory, because we can definitely recognize or "sense" parivartana dhainya yogas working in our lives and the loops they create.

yes, the parashara formual for yoga judgment.
