Hi @ernst

While evaluating whether a yoga will work out or not, we see the net sum of yoga judgement scores i.e. the positive I:SxSD and negative K:AxKD values for planets making up the yoga. If it's positive, the yoga will bear positive fruits. If negative, it will be destroyed. Now given that the average ratio of Subha:Asubha values is around 1:3, then while evaluating whether yoga will bear positive fruits, why do we compare the scores(I:SxSD and K:AxKD) values in 1:1 ratio rather than 1:3 to see if the yoga will bear positive fruits or will get destroyed? To put it differently, why shouldn't the yoga bear fruits if let's say if the positive and negative values are in ratio 1:2, better than the average ratio of 1:3?

Apologies if you have already answered this somewhere before.

no, good yogas give the positive value, bad yogas the negative value. there are more good yogas than bad, but the bad ones have a greater negative impact than the good ones have a positive impact, so it balances out.
