For the Predictive Transits Screen we can choose a Varga to see the upcoming transits. One of the options is Dasamsa. If I choose Dasamsa, which Dasama is Kala pulling the information from?
In the main screen we have the Standard D10, the Parvitti and the Reverse option. So which one is used for the Predictive Transit screen?

I remember Ernst advising to use the reverse Dasamsa I don’t remember the reason it is recommended over the other Vargas.

@ernst Thanks! I'm asking which Dasamsa calculation is used in the Predictive Transit screen? The Predictive Transit screens shows only "Dasamsa" as the choice for the D10 varga and I'm not clear on which of the three calculations it is referring to.
My understanding is that there are three different kinds of Dasamsa calculations programmed into Kala. From the main Varga menu (from the main screen) I see these three: Dasamsa, Dasamsa- Parivritti, Dasamsa - Reverse for Even Rasi.
So which calculation method is used in the Dasamsa Varga Calculation used in the Predictive Transit Screen?
@ernst ok as I am a believer in the Dasamsa - Reverse for Even Rasi calculation method, then I will refrain from using the Dasama option in the Predictive Transits screen because I can only assume it is not the same calculation method.
What Ernst meant is that in the 'Predictive Transit' screen, the Kala choses that Dasamsa option which you would have selected in the main Calculation option in Kala.
So if you prefer 'Reverse for Even Rasis' and have selected that in the main Calculation option screen of Kala, the Predictive Transit Screen will pick the same Dasamsa option from there.
