Hi Ernst

Debilitated planets on dusthanas indicate  bhavas present there won't grow much. So if a db planet is say in 6th rasi having 6th cusp, it is like the person just likes to run away from difficulties in this case so neither the difficulties remain nor any ability required to deal with them. Means they will like to quit to avoid difficulties. Is this deduction correct?

Thank you

It means they have low ability to manage the difficulties.

Okay.. If I remember it right, you said one rule like if dusthana lord in dusthana house itself, say 6th lord in 6th, then it doesn't help the bhava either. Can we say in that case the person has ability to manage the difficulty but the difficulties are overwhelming?

What if the debilitated planet in a dusthana is Mars in Cancer or Venus in Virgo with no starvation? Would we then expect a better ability to manage difficulties due to the helping delight?

Still a little confused how to put debilitation and lajjitadi avasthas together. In the recent Moon delighting Mars video Ernst said debilitation indicates stressful circumstances that a good avastha planet can navigate well, but here he's saying debilitation is a low ability of the person.

They will still have a low ability to surmount the obstacles, but they will hvae a good attidue about it and it won't make them feel bad bout themselves.

Dusthana lord in own dusthana is a good combination, but any other planet with it suffers terribly.
