Kind of hard to rely on ones self when you have every one of the traditional 7 planets in feminine/even signs
Somewhere Ernst has mentioned that the planets like to be in female signs, unless I am remembering it wrong.
Developing will is more an internal process, using that will is more an external one. Being receptive does not mean that you are not doing anything. A lot happens during that downtime. Cells get energized, thoughts get processed, things get clarified, a new path is found. In fact, even if you think you are not doing anything, you are doing a lot that is not that obvious unless you start looking for it.
Your post sounds fatalistic, and if you are in that place of having a foggy mind, then it is understandable. I know couple of men who do the absolute minimum to make money to survive and spend the rest of the time reading, learning and relaxing. The only time they take action is when external forces require them to take action. For the rest of the time, they are learning, processing, ingesting that information.
With an Ecliptic path of Jack of Diamonds, you might feel like you are lacking direction or real purpose, but unbeknownst to you, you might also be learning new things and gathering new skills or talents. It might not seem a lot now, but perhaps one day, it will all come together.
