Hi, Ernst!

I am your big fan. Now I am in Chernihiv, Ukraine. And it is hot here) I'm really wondering if you have watched how events will develop in this conflict? and could you share your ideas about the muhurta chart of the beginning of the war and the period in which my country is now. the conflict began on January 24 at about 5 am Kiev time. The act of independence of Ukraine was adopted on August 24, 1991 at 18.00 Kiev time

Maybe you will see some other interesting tendencies in these charts

thank you ????

I am hoping to work on this war in the next few days. I am looking for the location of the aggressive act on january 24th. THEre were many points of attack on the Ukraine and we really need to know the location that the first russian attack came from?

Thank you! It is very hard to say. first, at that time, they showed Putin's speech about the beginning of the war, and after a short amount of time, Ukraine was attacked simultaneously in all directions. but the recording of Putin's speech was made a few days before, it just wasn't shown.

@vanjarl I would think that one of the places that Russia attacked from was a command center? If so, I would use that place. Failing that, we could use as the command center wherever the orders are coming out of?

@ernst It's very difficult to say where the command center is. Orders are coming from Putin himself, he's in Moscow.

The attacks were all simultaneously at different cities at around 6:00 AM Moscow time.

@эрнст Why January 24th? FEBRUARY 24, 2022, at about 5 am, I heard the first explosions on the outskirts of Kyiv, Russian troops landed at the airport and Russian helicopters began to drop bombs on the airport.

Yes, it was Feb. 24th not Jan. 24th.

I think we can ignore the previous skirmishes and use the charts for this primary military move which is committed move on the part of Russia, and thus one that forces Ukraine to be committed as well.

Yes, I agree that the time to use is Putin's declaration, so 5:45 AM moscow time. As the declaration came from Moscow we can cast the chart for moscow.

Also, a BIG TIP. I think the chinese lunar new year works better than the hindu new year for world events. It happens one new moon previous. I think this was the beginning of the lunar near year in ancient india as well back when they used the aditya zodiac. With that lunar new year we had a sun, moon saturn conjunction in the 8th from the Bhava lagna which is the global lagna. And in moscow and Keiv the lagna had sun moon saturn conjunction and was the 8th from the global lagna.

At some point I will talk more about my reasons for using this as the lunar new year. But for those who use lunar new years for world events, try some past years and see if you like the results better.

Thanks for the recommendation. I had heard about this technique from Corey Dowds who mentions it in his interview with Fiona Marques on the Vedic Astrology Podcast.

For anyone who is interested: It's a really great podcast that helped me get more ideas for how and what to do regarding mundane predictions. So it's well worth checking out!

So, to calculate a chart of the lunar year for a particular country, we cast a chart of the time of the new moon (this case Feb. 1st for the Chinese lunar year) at the capital of a country?

I am from Russia and looked at mundane charts for Moscow and Kiev for a moment, then sun ingress in aries on March 20  - it is the 8th from lagna and mars in the 6th with saturn and venus, rahu joined the 8th bhava cusp.

So, it turns out that the lunar new year works better for mundane astrology?

@konstantin_23 I did not find lunar year working better than solar year, but chinese lunar year which is a month earlier works best and that is what i have been using the last couple of years. I think they used to use that same lunar new year in older days in India as well as the Adityas start a month earlier as well and the aditya zodiac has been forgotten in India since probably 300BC.
