Namaskar, everyone. I'm a Novice to and learning Vedic Astrology. For the understanding of Rahu and Ketu from where the axis of these mentioned two planets be decided? From Ascendant or the Rashi Chart. If I calculate the Rahu and Ketu based on Rashi chart, then the Rahu and Ketu axis becomes Libra and Aries( 7th and 1st), and if I calculate it based on Ascendant, it becomes 3rd and 9th.
Hi, are you talking about Rahu Ketu axis in a different Varga other than D1 Rasi Chart?
I see.... Rahu - Ketu axis falls on the 3rd and 9th Houses, as calculated from the Lagna as you stated. However, the axis is on Libra and Aries and it will also have the flavor of the 2 signs (the natural 1st and 7th signs), ram-scale, fire-air, quadruped-biped, masculine-masculine, sun half-moon half, Mars ruled-Venus ruled, etc. The signs and houses are very telling when judging the Rahu-ketu axis.
