Hello...
I have a Leo lagna person with Ketu in 8th Pisces.
The transit of Saturn through Pisces didn't give any change to his career, despite his conscientious attempts.
Can it be because his Ketu in Pisces interiorazes the influence of Saturn?
Or the fact that he has 4 planets in 10th. So many factors influencing the 10th reduce the impact of Saturn alone?
Or his Saturn Rahu in 2nd, Virgo troubles this axis?
Or it's just not always so? Not favorable dasas...or negating yogas...?
Maybe in a few months, when Saturn will be retrograding?

Pisces is even the 11th from his Moon in Taurus.

Jupiter, Mars and Sun have been lately transiting also positive houses for that. 1, 9, 10, 11.

Only Venus (10th lord) and Mercury have been troubled with Saturn and Rahu.

Anything I am missing to look at?

I haven't yet taken the course predicting with Vimshottari. Maybe it's needed...

I would check his dasa and antradasa planets in vargas (D2, D9, D10 especially; D9 and D10 transits to lagna in those charts and AK) before making a conclusion that transits in D1 are at fault.
Keeping it simple but not really accurate is Saturn transits Ketu and aspecting 10 house. If vargas are doing ok, he should see improvement now that Saturn is temporary out of Ketu and his 8th.
I’m Leo lagna and I had weak dasa and antradasa planets in those vargas when Saturn was making himself at home in my 8th (where I have also Ketu) and I had to quit my job due to them taking away my remote/hybrid work (too far away from my home for me to drive there every day and be conscious for 8th hours). Every job interview resulted in “not this time” or silence or even “yes, we want you in our last step of interview process. And then silence” 😀 And I have great accomplishments in my career and impressive CV. Was doing great on most of those interviews. Nothing.
I get job offer from a place that I even forgot I was interested in just days before Saturn decided to leave my Ketu/8th house. My bad antradasa lord changed into positive one a month ago.
By looking at charts I found that even just D9 transits can tell a lot more than transits in D1. Especially when we observe what is happening there to AK.

@omanis Thank you so much!
Please confirm me if I understand you right.
So, I should look at his dasa planets and Ak.
1) how the transits are touching their positions in those vargas. Conjunctions and rasi aspects?
2) To evaluate the state of the planets in those vargas: does it mean Dignity, conjunctions and rasi aspects, house it's in? No Lajjitaadi avasthas there, right?

-------

The point I was talking from comes from Ernst's Positional transits course. He says the 11th transit is a very important one. And specially for Saturn, (karaka of 10th) going through 8th, the 11th from 10th, will be a important time. It makes a change in career. Either a boost if one is happy with career or a change when it's not working. Apparently in your case there has been a change.

When it happened to me, years ago. It was about adding a new source of income. When it started was slightly noticeable (none intentionality from my side) but when later Saturn retrograded it kind of settled as yes, this is going to continue. Then I did actively pursued it. A little thing but still helpful.
I have no planets in 8th. But Moon, Venus and Saturn rasi aspect it.

@marianela

yes to all of your question but for simplicity in vargas sometimes just dignity is enough. For me rasi aspects in vargas are hit and miss (maybe I need to train myself better in those).
11 house from a whole 10 house don’t work. It has to be 11 from 10 cusp. Was it for you transit from a house or from 10 cusp?

Is it in the 11th from the 10th cusp or the 10th rasi? Or both?

@ernst It's 11th from both, cusp and rasi. Either for me and for the Leo example I've brought.

Just yesterday talking with him. He told me in the last 2 weeks he had 2 proposals for temporary projects, and an unexpected nice payment for a work he had been doing for free.
So, there was some movement at the very end of Sat through 8. But still he is without a stable job.
In the last year he has done many applications and despite his outstanding CV nothing has worked.
He had indeed on 16th May a dasa change. From Ju/Ve/Ra into Ju/Ve/Ju.

Sometimes it brings a change within the same profession/job sphere in general not just a new career. It can also be a retiring or letting go energy related to career. Then again, a transit effect is not always 100% as astrology methods are never 100%.
