I love researching the darakaraka in compatibility and I thought I'd share what I've found between my sister and her girlfriend's chart in relation to it. Because their darakaraka isn't each others atmakaraka I had to dig deeper, and I'm not sure exactly what to look for, but this is what I've found. I hope it isn't confusing to read ????

So my sisters darakarka is Saturn and her atmakaraka is Venus. Her gf's darakaraka is Sun and her atmakaraka is Mercury. The first thing I noticed was my sisters Sun is in the natal second house and her girlfriends Saturn is in the natal second house - so I guess that's considered "matching" by being in the same house?

My sisters Saturn is in Pisces and the gf's ascendant is in Pisces. Gf's sun is in the 8th house (in Libra) and sister's sun is in the second house (in Aquarius) so there's a nice opposition-attraction as well as a trine between the signs.

In gf's chart her Sun is receiving the highest aspect from Saturn. In sisters chart her Saturn is receiving an aspect from the Sun, but the lord of Saturn is in Scorpio - which is the correlating 8th house where her gf's sun is placed.

Gf's Sun (darakaraka) is in Libra - Venus is the ruler of Libra. Sisters atmakaraka is Venus.

Gf's Mercury (atamakaraka) is in Pisces, sisters Saturn (darakaraka) is in Pisces (as well as her own mercury).

I think those are all the cross connections I've come across so far! Also on a side note, they seem generally really compatible - lots of conjunction/trine/opposition aspects. My favourite of theirs is sun trine sun and moon conjunct moon (in aquarius, same nakshatra even!) 😀

I'd be interested to hear anyone else's thoughts on this ????
