Hi Ernst,
With Rahu in 1st, you said that other people don’t usually see the person clearly because their energy is going more towards the 7th house and less towards themselves (paraphrasing it here).
With Rahu-Jupiter in 1st, I guess other people see the person as a generous person, putting more pressure on the person to give in different ways (Ketu in 7th). Would that be correct?
You also say that Rahu-Jupiter is on the path to find the right kind of Jupiterian experience and they come across many bad Jupiter experiences before they start finding the right ones. I guess this would include people who want to take on the role of husband or teacher for the person? So, it is up to the person to choose the right Jupiter to fit that role from the many options available. Is that correct? Maybe that also fits into my 7 of Hearts Jupiter card.
Today, I had an odd experience which I am trying to understand. I have had this before, and I have allowed it to slip past. But today, I experienced it from three different people who are not my mentors, so decided to take notice of it.
All three of them wanted to teach me something, but their knowledge was much less than the mentors that I have already chosen. From each of them, it seemed more of ‘I want from you’ kind of approach instead of ‘I freely give to you’ kind of teaching. I am wondering if I am experiencing an energetic manipulation of the 7th house Ketu as “I have something that might help you if you can share your energy with me” - a kind of test to see how much I have moved away from Ketu? Except I am aware that they have nothing to offer me in comparison to what they can get from me, so it won’t be a balanced 7th house give and take, at least not in the Jupiterian way. Maybe they have other attributes for a balanced give and take, that have not revealed themselves yet.
The odd thing is that two of them approached me when I was not looking for company and was enjoying being lost in what I was doing.
Juptier in first is most significant in taht a person is strong in their truth. People feel this and it feels like there is something good there th at they want. With Rahu there a person is finding out just exactly what their truth is in this lifetime, but its still strong. The jupiter experience with rahu in first is jupiter experience of finding their truth, not so much that of finding jupiter people. As Jupiter develops, it will be typical to encounter other's who have less to give as Jupiter is about giving out of abundance, not giving out of fair trade as is the 7th and Venus.
@ernst For a Jupiter-Rahu conjunction in the 8th house, would the expectation from the public towards Jupiter be to share one's wisdom and knowledge (i.e. astrology), in an open source format rather than through a sustainable exchange of resources?
No, not at all, Jupiter in the 8th helps a person develop their resources with the help of others.
rahu in aries in the 8th needs to take what other's have promised or else the will get taken advantage of. They need to learn that they have to be personally responsible for getting thier needs met from others in a way that works. Jupiter afflicted there means its harder to get others to deliver what has been promised.
