Recent Moon Saturn conjunction video - i have 2 questions:

1. Planetary aspect Moon/Saturn let's say 2nd house and 8th house - This is a full aspect so all the problems of Moon Saturn conjunction discussed in this video do they also apply to planetary aspect such as this?

2. Let's say you have Moon Saturn conjunction in Libra and Saturn is exalted in Libra.Does the fact that Saturn is exalted in Libra lessen the Moon Saturn conjunction problems discussed in the video?

Thx!

@tuyetv The Moon has no enemy so there would be no starvation through aspect. Any planet joined Saturn is starved though so the Moon is starved by Saturn when there is a Sa/Mo conjunction. For your second question, I believe this has been asked before and I remember that the dignity doesn’t change much to a starvation. Saturn in Libra will operate more productively than in Aries but it will still starve the Moon. Hope that helps.

@mona thanks for your reply. You are right that Moon has no enemies. I have a chart Moon is 2nd house and Saturn is 8th house. So not  a Saturn Moon conjunction. In Kala LA Calculations table under Saturn column it has a red value in Moon. That is why i asked the above question... If no conjunction i would not have expected a value in Moon

@tuyetv I tend to be quite visual so am sorry if I’m off but, from what I understand now, it sounds like it’s the Moon starving Saturn. Which can happen through aspect since Moon is enemy to Saturn. In that case, the Saturn starved by Moon is different than Moon being starved by Saturn. The idea is that, in that case, the Moon is trying to find emotional fulfillment from what they don’t have, from what is not part of who they are. This can indicate emotional neediness. There is a sense of lack and a lot of fears around expressing emotions. I have Saturn in Cancer and there’s definitely a delay and/or cut off from knowing what we truly need and want. Since it’s in my 11th house, when I was younger, I thought a lot of my needs revolved around titles and gains, now that I’m in my 40s, am not that duped but it’s still hard to access what the heart really wants. There’s also a tendency to project fears and worries on to others as a result. So the dynamic is quite different than when the Moon is starved by Saturn (there is no trauma, at least not beyond the natural stress of life and in my case). “Just” a cut off from the heart. Hope that makes sense

(so that also means we have to be patient until Ernst tackles Saturn’s Avasthas in this master course or go (back) to the heart of Parashara class 🙂

@mona ahh that makes sense Mona... It is not Saturn starving Moon but Moon starving Saturn via aspect. If Saturn is starving Moon i would have found the red value under the Moon column and Saturn across. Still learning how to read the LA Avashtas calculation table... Thanks again Mona!

Human Design is an amazing tool to be used together with astrology. I love it!

Ernst mentioned HD it a few years back. The seed was planted. But it wasn't ready to germinate, at least in my case.

Then early this year, due to Carmina - I started diving into HD (I think she might still have a class for beginners for those interested - not sure though, maybe email her to ask everything@carmina-amza.com).

I now can't imagine pulling a chart without looking at their body graph for insight.

@mona you would love it, I am certain!

@mirela great, thanks for those insights and info! I believe I’ve heard Carmina on YouTube once, will check her out 🙂

I think it is best to stick with one overall system if one is to study deeply. Otherwise you get analysis paralysis and just get too scattered...If astrology, stick with that (after all, it is quite enough don't you think?, human design -stick with that, palmistry or whatever, stick with that). Human Design is quite brilliant as I have a close friend who does readings and we chat about it when we meet. I have found it quite helpful for me personally from readings but have decided to just stick with Jyotish as a personal study.

Though, everyone is different and may venture off to another system to study, but like Ernst has said, learning a few techniques well is much better than learning many techniques and not being able to really apply them deeply..

AUM

@scott-m-19 100% agree. Emailed the exact same thing to a friend a couple days ago 🙂 And how I got too scattered last year myself. With Ketu in Gemini and its ruler Mercury in my 3rd house, it’s always easy for me to be curious and study, study, study, ... so I always have to remind myself of that! Thanks!

Ernst had told me some human design stuff about myself a little while ago. I didn't know it was human design at the time, but I found it extremely helpful. Later I discovered human design, and then related all the stuff Ernst had told me. Lots of "holy shit" this makes perfect sense moments.

Very very useful.

When I tried to read more about the Iching lines from "Ra Uru Hu" (the founder), it made absolutely no sense to me, and felt like a waste of time.

All I really needed to know was my energy type (projector), strategy, and my definition. Nice and simple, straight to the point, nothing much else needed for me besides that!

@codydeboer thanks for sharing your perspective. With the little things I’ve learned about HD in the past few days, I had the feeling that those key points mattered. Am a generator and I can very much relate to the “Who am I?” Key question for this type:) thanks again.

@codydeboer Exactly! I had a very similar experience. I was excited to learn about the energy types, but more complex stuff made less and less sense and grew more and more at odds with anything vedic.
